What the petition asks
The Speaker of the House of Commons is the chief officer and highest authority of the House of Commons and must remain politically impartial at all times. The current Speaker has shown several times that he is not politically impartial and we demand that he is sacked
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The resignation of the Speaker is a personal decision for the Speaker.
