What the petition asks
I hereby put it to the government that ANYONE detained under ANY kind of mental act have AT LEAST one officer (if not all officers) present at all times, with adequate mental health training, to at least A-level or higher.
Recently I was detained under section 136 of the mental health act,
I was made to wait over 6 hours for my prescribed medication which after I had, the officers involved were happy to let me go and said I was like a completely different person,
which anyone with any mental health training would know and understand,
I know my story is not the worst, so please if you feel you can, share yours & thanks for reading & signing hopefully together we can get this change in place and make a difference!
