What the petition asks
John Bercow should be removed from the speakers job as his comments may damage trading relations between the UK and the USA.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
There is no mechanism for the removal of a Speaker during a Parliament. Other than at a general election, the Speaker can only stop being Speaker through resignation or death.
