Formal apology from the America for the temporary detention of Johnson Beharry

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Request a formal apology from the American Government for the temporary detention/delay of Johnson Beharry on January 27 2017 at New Yorks JFK Airport.
Mr Beharry is a recipient of Her Majesties Victoria Cross awarded due to his bravery and dedication to his government, country (during deployment in Afghanistan) and also the safety of the American people. He has proved his honour and courage in the face of an adversary intent on undermining freedoms lives of both the US and English people. Surely by his actions Mr Beharry has earned the respect of not only England, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, but also due the courtesy from the US.
