Add cats to the list of animals that you need to report if hit by a car.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We would like to add cats to the list of animals that you need to report if you hit them whilst driving.

The Road Traffic Act 1988 does not list cats.

Like dogs, these animals belong to a family, and the family deserves the right to know if their pet has been injured or have died

On many of occasions, people hit cats and drive off.

We wouldn't do this to humans, why should they suffer?
