banding system across the dental sector so dental nurses are nolonger exploited

What the petition asks
This is NOT a petition for personal gain! It is for dental nurses to gain the recongnition for all the hard work they put in. Dentist do not reflect this in general dental practices and like general nurses/physiotherapist we would like to be heard for all what we do.
The BDA have developed a pay scale sheet but this is not being taken into consideration when dental nurses are being employed and because there is no legal framework dentist/employers can get away with it. It makes hard working individuals not want to carry on doing something they enjoy. And we all feel this should be recognised. The number of signatures will prove how highly unappreciated dental nurses are.....
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
