Legislate against zero hours agency work and zero hour contracts

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Agency staff are forced into poor working conditions , phoned late at night or no notice and told to attend work or risk being fired , some get sent back home a few hours later .Company's and agency's profits rise and the cost to society and people aren't counted , the new modern slavers of society.
Agency's and company's require legislating against to do the right thing by society and people , they may pay the minimum wage but what use is this if you get two days work . Agency numbers are high, workers are rotated for short periods of work meaning no one gets 5 days and no one is ever employed.Large profit brands are playing fast and loose with the lack of control through legislation , they need to be forced to employ rather than pillage from society. They operate using fear and threats.
