Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Thousands of low paid workers are subject to Zero contracts which provide no real employment or financial security. Classified as working Jim on a Zero contract had no work offered in 8 weeks. These contracts not only affects credit ratings, NI payments but more for low paid and disadvantaged
Care workers, Shop workers and more have been expereincing Zero hour contracts for many years and also expressed their concern and uncertainty with this particular method of employment law which provides only vague security for employees. In making this petition we urge the government to curb this practice and return to clear employment methods as in past years with clearly defined full time or part time contracts with the necessary approved terms and conditions.
