What the petition asks
Under Article 50, all treaties including the Common Fisheries Policy will “cease to apply” to the UK, and UK waters will be protected by a 200-mile Exclusive Economic Zone.
Anything less than getting back full control of our waters and the fishing rights in them post-Brexit is unacceptable.

The British fishing industry could be worth as much as £6.3billion to the UK economy in the post-Brexit age. We must not fail to get control of our waters back. Once out of the EU the Common Fisheries Policy no longer applies to us and we must not allow the EU to strip us of our 200 mile exclusive economic zone that will be protected by international law.
Control of our waters should not be negotiated away.
