Stop the whole of the NHS, including GP’s surgeries, paying business rates.

What the petition asks

The NHS is not a business; it is a charity and as such should not be paying business rates as imposed by the government which, incidentally, is being assessed and possibly raised.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Give NHS hospitals the same 80% discount on business rates given to charities.
