Allow Ugandan LGBT refugees in Kenya to claim UK asylum via the UNHCR.

Closed 37 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK only allows asylum claims from people who are on its sovereign territory. Hence English speaking Ugandan LGBT refugees in Kenya cannot apply for asylum in the UK. Canda and the USA allow such people to apply for resettlement via the UNHCR while still in Kenya. The UK should do the same.
