What the petition asks
We would ask for Employers to give a Minimum amount of hours not Zero hours
Zero hour contracts make it hard for people to save and budget. This can cause a host to many detrimental effects! Under a zero hour contract an employer has no obligation to provide any minimum hours of work leaving employees with worry that they may not be able to feed their family or pay bills.

I would like Parliament to discuss bringing a minimum guaranteed hour’s scheme or a base pay so people don't have to rely on benefits to see them through.
