What the petition asks
Welsh-Muslim teacher Juhel Miah was removed from a flight to New York even though he had a valid visa and in violation of assurances from Pres Trump. Students he was travelling with were shocked and upset. The British government must immediately demand an explanation and apology from US government.
Juhel Miah, a Muslim and native born British citizen who is a teacher in Wales, was helping to escort a school trip to New York. While boarding a connecting flight in Reykjavik he was singled out for a security check and denied permission to travel.
