What the petition asks
Millions of pounds of counterfeit and unlicensed medicines are sold in the UK. Internet pharmacies must be registered with MHRA and display an internet pharmacy logo.
Demand the government stops Google & Bing from displaying illegal pharmacy websites which are not registered with the MHRA.

Falsified medicines are a major threat to public health and safety.
Currently the MHRA contact internet service providers to block websites. This takes months and doesn't work. Stopping Google displaying these websites is far more effective, faster and easier way to reduce the number of citizens using these illegal sites.
