Ensure Police and Social Services protect children from emotional harm

What the petition asks

In 2014 the Government announced changes to the offence of child cruelty, stating

"We are clarifying the criminal law on child cruelty to make it absolutely clear that children who are subjected to cruelty likely to cause psychological suffering or injury are protected by the law."







On 12th February 2017 ,the Chief Executive of CAFCASS was interviewed by the Daily Telegraph,he stated

"Divorced parents who brainwash their children against ex partners are guilty of abuse....the deliberate manipulation of a child by one parent against the other has become so common in family breakdowns it should be dealt with like any other form of neglect or child abuse "
