What the petition asks
Cornwall council has announced subsidised travel passes for further education students will cost more to purchase, with a possible 50% increase, although this seems like a local issue other local authorities may have similar plans and could affect students nationwide, prices are too high already.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Concessionary travel passes for further education students are the responsibility of local authorities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
