Remove Atos Healthcare as the Assessor for people on ESA with DWP

What the petition asks

Atos Healthcare is used to assess people on ESA for a wide range of problems and more often than not, people who have dehibilitating and life threatening conditions are given zero points and they are removed from the benefits they so desperately need to survive.

For some peculiar reason, the investigations of professionals and specialists isn't enough to verify these health problems. Atos are sent to assess mental health issues which they are not qualified to assess as they try to find a physical problem that they can focus on as I know from personal experience. There has been an increase in suicides due to this sham of an assessment that has caused increases in depression and anxiety.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
