Decriminalize the use of cannabis and possession of cannabis
Rejected

What the petition asks
Over the years people are being prosecuted for the use and possession of cannabis costing the police £50 million a year and prison systems Millions of pounds. People like to come home and have a joint after a long day at work the same as some people like to have a glass of wine.
Since Amsterdam has decriminalized the use and possession of cannabis crime rate has fallen, it has also brought more tourism to Amsterdam. Some People who use cannabis and get caught with it have problems finding employment because employers see cannabis as a CRIMINAL OFFENCE. The war on drugs has failed so far and i believe the only way to tackle the problem is to decriminalize cannabis
