Lords and Ladies in receipt of foreign pensions to be barred from EU Votes.
Rejected

What the petition asks
It is morally wrong for peers in receipt of pensions from foreign countries to vote on debates regarding the Governments actions with those countries. Those with divided loyalties should not have to opportunity to sway Government decisions.
Peers in receipt of EU pensions do not have to declare that fact when debating in the Lords Chamber. When debating matters pertaining to the EU, those peers should declare their interest, and be barred from voting on the issue.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about matters that the Government or the House of Commons are responsible for. We can't accept petitions calling on the House of Lords to take action.
