Petition · past parliament

Force landlords to accept common household 'pets' as many uk residents have one.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Many landlords do not accept pets but when we live in a country where many residents own a dog or cat, it seems a little silly to deny a large portion of families property. It would be a fair compromise for landlords to add a 'pet fee' to cover any potential damage to the property.
Pets are apart of the family and shouldn't be excluded or put into a position where they become a burden for a family desperately looking for homes which allow pet's and there honestly isn't many of them that low income families could afford.
