Government funding for groups dedicated to catching paedophiles.

What the petition asks
The law is doing what it can to deter those who prey on children, but only prosecutes after the crime. Such groups as 'Dark Justice' and the like catch such predators before the crime. I believe they are an invaluable web of online protection for children, and could expand with funding.
I believe such groups should have the label of ‘Vigilante’ lifted – it near demonises them for the work they do to catch these predators, protecting YOUR children online.
Sign, share, and let us have these groups brought within the confines of the law, protected by law, and funded by Government to spread the webs they weave to snare those who prey on children BEFORE they can ruin lives.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a petition calling for a specific change to the law, to make the activities carried out by these groups legal.
