What the petition asks
Replacing the unelected House of Lords with a system comparable with a 'jury service' will enable Bills to be scrutinized apolitically thus ensuring laws can be passed or rejected on face value. No direct political loyalty should be allowed in an attempt to depoliticise the 'upper house'.
