What the petition asks

We call upon the elected house to support the Lords' amendments to the EU (Notice of Withdrawal) Bill.

The amendments do not infringe the 'will of the people' to leave the EU, whilst granting sovereign Parliament control and security for valued members of our communities.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The Lords' amendments to the European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill 2016-17 were disagreed with by the House of Commons on 13 March 2017.
