What the petition asks

Being self employed is hard enough with all the extra hours we put in to find the jobs so we don't need support from benefits etc. We made a choice to stand on our own two feet when employment was low.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The Chancellor has announced today (15 March) that the proposed changes to National Insurance for self-employed people won’t go ahead.
