Why some government services are paying more pension contributions than others

What the petition asks
Why is the Police pension contributions so much higher than other government departments, bearing in mind that the percentage contributed makes no difference to the amount of care police pension you ultimately receive. Other public sector care schemes are not contributing the same amounts.
