It's time to force Yodel, Hermes and all other rogue couriers to be regulated

What the petition asks
There is currently no official regulatory body in place to hold courier companies accountable for their infamously poor standards of delivery and customer service. More stringent regulations would ensure that they must meet these basic standards and allow complaints to be formally investigated.
Yodel and Hermes, to name just two of these companies, have already been much publicised for their poor reputation. For reference see BBC's Watchdog, or the current Twitter feed of @yodelonline. Time and time again these companies fall back on their tightly worded contractual Ts & Cs ensuring that their errors are not held accountable for. These companies exist to undercut the market at the cost of the buyer and it is high time that they are held to task.
