What the petition asks
I've suffered with migraine my entire adult life, and along with it comes IBS, depression and anxiety. Migraine has robbed me of life that others take for granted; having a stable job, having money in the bank, having a mortgage and even my own family. Life is very hard to cope with.
1. Migraine is more common than diabetes, epilepsy and asthma COMBINED
2. Migraine is 7th most disabling disease globally
3. The AVERAGE (not chronic) migraineur spends more than 4 solid years of their lived suffering an attack
4. Severe attacks are classified by WHO as among most disabling illnesses
5. Migraine is the least publicly funded of all neurological illnesses, relative to its economic impact
6. Depression is three times more common in migraineurs
*Facts from Migraine Trust
