What the petition asks

Since Scotland and Wales have both been allowed to vote in a referendum on their continued union within the UK, for the sake of equality, the English should be allowed a referendum on whether they want to leave the UK.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

England should be given a referendum on leaving the United Kingdom.
