Petition · past parliament

Set up a unit for kids with adhd in yeovil.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

There is no unit in yeovil for these children. They are sent out of county instead. We need this to help for primary kids as soon as possible. Please help to get this to parliment. County won't help.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The UK Government of Parliament are not responsible for setting up local services for children with ADHD.

If you would like a unit to help with the health concerns of children with ADHD, you could try contacting the Patient Advice and Liaison Service for Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. You can email them at [email protected]

You might mean a different sort of unit - a unit giving the sort of support provided by Somerset Carers (www.somersetcarers.org/supp-groups.htm) or ADDers (http://www.adders.org/englandmap.htm#Somerset) for example. You could contact your local councillor for help. You can find out who your local councillor is here:

You could also ask your council to look into funding a unit for children with ADHD or to review a decision. You can find out more about the different ways that you can contact South Somerset District Council here:
