Arrange a visit to Israel by the Queen in 2017, the Balfour centenary year

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

The Queen has never visited Israel during her 65 year reign. Israel is a close ally of the UK and there are numerous family ties. The Royal Family has been invited to visit Israel during 2017, the centenary year of the Balfour Declaration. An official state visit is way overdue!

If the Queen at 90 is unable to go then another senior member of the Royal Family should go

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This would be a decision for Her Majesty the Queen, and not the UK Government or Parliament, to take.
