Prevent Walid Durani from being deported back to Afghanistan.

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Walid sought asylum in the UK when he was 14 years old; however, his visa has now been rejected as he is unable to provide paperwork that he and his family were persecuted in Afghanistan.
Walid was highly commended for 'Young Builder of the Year' by the House of Commons and now he works at a building firm in Fleet. Walid has a UK National Insurance Number, pays UK Tax and has a British Driver's License. However, because Walid is now 18 he is classed as an 'economic migrant' and his visa has been rejected as he is unable to provide paperwork that he and his family were persecuted in Afghanistan.
