What the petition asks
Far too often we hear of older drivers who have lost control of their car and caused serious damage to themselves and others, sometimes killing people.
Many know their elderly relatives are no longer fit for driving but are unable to stop them from getting behind a wheel.
Many know their elderly relatives are no longer fit for driving but are unable to stop them from getting behind a wheel.
To make our roads safer and help avoid these tragedies we should introduce a mandatory test to make sure drivers are still fit to be on the road.
These courses, tests and lessons will provide additional income and help protect the public from accidents that could have been avoided.
