What the petition asks
Since resigning as Chancellor George Osborne has taken on a number of highly paid advisory roles in addition to his role as MP. Following his latest appointment as Editor of London Evening Standard he should be made to resign as an MP as he can no longer effectively represent his constituents
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
