What the petition asks
On March 17th 2017 it was announced that George Osborne MP would become the new editor of the Evening Standard.
This calls in to question both his commitment to constituents, the process of parliament, and indeed his impartiality.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
