Ensure the Poppy is only used as a symbol to mark respect.

What the petition asks

The poppy should be used to show respect for those who have fallen, it should not have any political statement or party attached to it.
I believe that using the poppy as a symbol should be outlawed if not used on Armistice Day or to raise money for the poppy appeal.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the poppy. The Royal British Legion's 2-petal poppy is already a registered trademark. You can find out more on the website of the Royal British Legion:
