What the petition asks

Far too many private hire vehicles on the road in the UK It has stop people making a living wage and now a danger to the public as drivers have to work over 90 hours a wage to able to pay the overheads and feed there familys to many drivers have no idea where there go or know how to drive safely

Since most council have do away with a test for drivers to see if they know the area they are to work in and have let cross boarder hiring it has put the public in danger as driver who cant read or speak english and dont know the road signs or highway code and donot get the correct dbr checks has made this pratices unfare to drivers who have done all the things set out before the tests were done away with and are now struggling to make a living
