Petition · past parliament
Give all citizens of the UK access to licensed firearms to prevent terrorists.

What the petition asks
After the recent rapes and murders around the UK and Europe and the latest attacks in London, if government aren't going to protect us by deporting dangerous people of other backgrounds and from other countries of origin, it's time to let the people of the UK protect themselves.
In my opinion, if anybody had been carrying a firearm when the terrorist was driving over people and stabbing the policeman in London, he may have been stopped a lot earlier and not as many people would have been hurt.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "access to licensed firearms". We're not sure whether you would like to Government to provide firearms to citizens of the UK, or whether you would like a specific change to the laws that regulate firearms in the UK.
