Publish An Official Vindication Of Enoch Powell

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In April 1968, Enoch Powell made his infamous 'Rivers of Blood' speech. He went into detail on his vision of a future Britain under an influence of mass immigration.

Since making that speech he was savaged by the media and his colleagues in Parliament forcing him to resign.
Now that we are in 2017 and his vision has been proven to be 100% accurate, we call upon the UK government to issue a statement recognising this with a full vindication and a vow that in the future, they will listen to the concerns of the people regardless of their effects on the sensibilities of the overly politically correct...

Now is the time to put aside the delicate feelings of the easily offended for the sake of national security lest you will be walking blindly into a cultural civil war.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
