Allow gay marriage in Northern Ireland
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
Up until recently the northern Irish governments biggest political party (DUP) have abused their power using a petition of concern to stop same sex marriage. however now since they do have 30 seats they cannot use it and I ask that this is to be reconsidered.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Your petition is about something that the Northern Ireland Assembly is responsible for.
