What the petition asks
I work 14 hour days and get £7 an hour. I love my job and its a very rewarding job. we all work so hard to make a difference to the people we support. A lot of us struggle to make ends meet. Why should I and many others look for jobs with more money when we're already in a job we love.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Not all carers are employed in the public sector, so the Government and Parliament aren't responsible for how much all carers are paid.
