What the petition asks
A man in England will not face time in jail after he hit his wife with a cricket bat and poured bleach down her throat reports the Independent. Judge Richard Mansell QC ruled that Mustafa Bashir would not serve time in jail despite Bashir admitting to assault resulting in actual bodily harm.
