Petition · past parliament
For Theresa May to resign as PM and a General Election to be held.
Rejected
19 signatures
What the petition asks
Theresa May refuses to interact with the devolved Governments of the U.K. In the Brexit process shows she is only interested in her and her party's own agenda. This by a PM that was not duly elected by the people of the U.K. A General Election should of be had with the resignation of the former PM.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Any decision on whether to resign would be for the Prime Minister to take, not the Government or the House of Commons as a whole.
