Before we hand any powers to write new legislation, we should hold an election.

What the petition asks
Theresa May was not elected by the people. The manifesto people voted in has been changed. Theresa May has no mandate and it would be wrong of us to allow her additional powers without first holding a general election.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
