Petition · past parliament

Obey the clearly expressed Will of the Sovereign People of Scotland.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

On 23/06/16 the People of Scotland gave voice to their Sovereign Will and chose for the UK to Remain a member of the EU.

The only legitimate course of action is for the Government to withdraw Leave voting regions and Nations from the EU in the same manner as Denmark withdrew Greenland.
As has been settled in 'MacCormack vs the Lord Advocate' in the Court of Session and subsequently in the Supreme Court in 'AXA vs the Scottish Government' the people of Scotland are Sovereign and their Will supercedes any other legal authority in the United Kingdom with regards to Scotland.

No authority has ever had the power to strip the Scots of their Sovereignty and they have never willingly surrendered it.

Regardless of any periods where illegitimate authorities have attempted to deny or ignore the Sovereign Will of the People of Scotland that legitimate Sovereignty has existed unbroken since its first Declaration in Arbroath in 1320.

Why it was rejected
