Homeless people should be able to be carers for older people

What the petition asks
older people out there need, theres people with no home. To help the government and country I think we should encourage the start of a new difference for both of these vulnerable groups let's help homeless people get a job and home, let's give older people a companion and a carer.
If we initiated a programme designed to help the homeless get a home and a job (live in carer) we could potentially make a positive impact on the lives of everyone in this country, older people need companionship and support in their everyday life, it's costing the government so much money. Last winter there were cases of homeless people dying because of the cold, older people suffer more in winter too. It will take a massive investment but the outcomes will benefit everyone.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not exactly sure what action you would like the Government to take to make this happen. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
