relax the laws on taking children out of school for holidays.

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Following today's ruling in the Supreme Court the government should look st relaxing the laws on school absences allowing those with over 90% attendance a maximum of 10 days authorised absence in order that they can partake in family holidays.
Many families are unable to take holidays in the school holiday period due to finances, children in different schools and forced work holidays. It is unfair that these families are denied the educational benefits of a family holiday.
