Stop the New European E-Cigarette Legislation
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
The new EU legislation will completely turn the market on its head. E-Cigarettes have helped more people stop smoking than any other method available on the current market. A crack down on E-Cigarettes will push previous smokers back to the habit.
New EU legislation:
Maximum refill containers can not exceed 10ml.
this will increase e liquid cost as packaging makes up a significant part of the cost of production also impacts the environment.
Maximum nicotine strength of 20mg
So previous smokers with a heavy habit will find it harder to quit
Maximum tank capacity of 2ml.
Say goodbye to a lot of the high performance and “sub ohm” vaping tanks and a massive reduction of product choice. Expect only a few compliant tanks to be available.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a petition asking the UK Government to lobby to make changes to proposed EU legislation, or to lobby for the implementation to be delayed until after the UK leave the European Union.
