ACT NOW to stop the persecution, detention & killing of LGBT people in Chechnya

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

Gay men are being arrested as part of a so called purge in the Russian region of Chechnya. Human Rights Groups say gay men are being held in concentration camp-style prisons with more than 100 men detained “in connection with their non-traditional sexual orientation". Several are feared dead.
Though the UK government has called for the Russian government to intervene. Russia is hardly much of a friend to LGBT's. More needs to be done. Inaction is not an option.
