Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

Chechnya is conducting crimes against humanity. Chechnya is accused of forcing gay and transgender people into concentration camps similar to how Nazis massacred gay men in 1940s. Please sign this petition to get our government to debate political action that can be taken against such governments.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

It's clear that you're concerned about the situation in Chechnya, but we're not sure what specific action you would like the Government or Parliament to take. In particular, we're not sure whether you'd like a debate about Chechnya or all countries that persecute LGBT people.
