What the petition asks
Round the area of Romford the crime rate has gone up in the last 6 months due to young kids driving motorbike stealing cars smarshing windows and the Parents of these children are just letting them carry on with it I think the government should put this in place to make a safer place for us all
The police can't really do much now days because there's never enough evidence but if this curfew was out in place it would make the police job easier and they could go deal with real crimes
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Curfews for children are the responsibility of parents and not the UK Government and Parliament as a whole.
If you would like Parliament to change the law, to make it illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to be outdoors after 9 pm, you could start a petition calling for that.
